Good progress across the Easter weekend, plumbers now have all the plumbing pipes in the basement of the house just completing the shop this Monday morning. The perimeter of the shop is now back filled and the house foundation coating is also complete. Today the boys will be installing the rainwater leaders and weeping tile for the house. Inspections will be completed tomorrow morning and we can start the back fill on the house.

Excavation
The property is located on the corner of Camp Road and Hallam Drive in the District of Lake Country. The 1.4 acre cherry orchard has a number of older shacks used as seasonal housing for the farm workers, these are being demolished during the course of the excavation.
We are building 2 homes on this site; an accessory building with a contained suite and the single family home.
The excavation on this property started on April 3rd 2014 and has delivered new surprises every day. During the excavation we found an old wooden culvert, water lines, sewer lines, gas lines, buried electrical cable and even an old old Chevrolet buried about 4 ft below grade. During the weekend excavation we also hit a major rock out cropping smack in the middle of the basement. Thanks to Jason Qazilbash the property owner, he coordinated a Hitachi 225 with a rock breaker and we able to direct the operator and eliminate the outcropping.
